Why Bordity exists

Many people earn in one currency, save in another and still keep an account in the country they left. Then the simple question “how much do I have?” takes a spreadsheet and a fresh exchange rate every time.

Banking apps show one country each. Budgeting apps assume one currency. And a transfer home shows up as spending on one side and income on the other.

Bordity keeps each account in its own currency and adds everything up in the currency you choose, at each day's rate.

What Bordity does

Four parts of the app, shown with example numbers.

Net worth, converted at each day's rate

Assets minus debts, converted day by day. See how much is in each currency, how it changed this year, and what a weaker yen did to the total.

Transfers between currencies count once

Write down what left one account and what arrived in the other, each in its own currency. Bordity keeps the rate you really got and leaves the transfer out of your spending.

Common questions

All questions

What is Bordity?

A personal finance app for people with money in more than one currency. You keep each account in its own currency and see one net worth, cash flow and history in the currency you choose.

Which currencies are supported?

Around 170 currencies, plus Bitcoin and Ether. Each account has one currency, and you can mix as many accounts and currencies as you like.

Where do exchange rates come from?

Bordity updates reference rates once a day. Totals and charts use the rate of each day, so last year’s balances are converted with last year’s rates, not today’s.

Does Bordity connect to my bank?

No. You add transactions by hand or import statement files with AI. That keeps your bank credentials out of Bordity entirely and works with any bank in any country.

Which files can I import?

CSV, TSV, Excel (.xlsx), PDF statements and photos or screenshots (PNG, JPG, WebP), up to 10 MB each. You review every row before it is saved.
